What is 1MixedFamily?
The 1MixFamily vision is to bring acceptance and togetherness in a world where it is OK to be mixed. We are an online community created by mixed-race, mixed-culture family people who are passionate about changing the world for the better, by engaging all mixed-race, mixed-culture people of the world. Through a privacy sensitive, online forum where member experiences can anonymously share and learnt from others, 1MixedFamily provides a safe, organic platform which, supported by informative and interesting articles, book reviews & facts, will flourish with the support and contributions from our members. Membership will always be 100% confidential and 100% free.

Is it really free?
Absolutely. 1MixedFamily offers free membership and will never charge for usage of the website. Access is given to all with no “special access” areas asking for payment to enter. You may encounter some advertisements or corporate supporters throughout the website which are there to support us in our vision. We will endeavour to keep these adverts to a minimum and ensure they are relevant to our community. Please support the companies who support us in achieving our mission and as we strive toward our vision.

How does it work?
1MixedFamily is dependent upon you, the members of our community. We will source interesting and relevant articles, book reviews or academic papers and post them on the home page, but it is our community that can provide the healthy communication, tips and tricks from experience, interesting stories and send in to us anything that may be of interest to post for all to share.

Is it confidential?
Definitely! We will never disclose your information to other users or any third party, ever. Your online profile is up to you. You can share or withhold any or all your details.
