I believe that by wearing cornrows, she isn’t offending anyone or doing anything necessarily wrong. When I was younger, I would have my hair in cornrows all the time and I believe that it is just a hairstyle made to be worn by anyone as long as it is named correctly and not disrespected in any way. I am a mixed-race person and I do not see the issue, she is only wearing the ‘black’ hairstyle and not acting as if she is black.
